| E forms - General overview:
|
|
If you are salaried worker affiliated to the general social security scheme in
France and your employer wishes to send you to work in a Member State of the EU,
the EEA or in Switzerland, you need to obtain the E 101 and E 106 forms, issued
by the CPAM (Social Security fund) before you leave the country.
The E 106 form must be given to the social security authorities in the
country in which you will be working on a temporary basis to allow you access to
health care and reimbursement of the cost of treatment identical to that
provided to members in that country.
As regards unemployment benefit, if in France you are eligible for return to
employment benefit and you then wish to find a job in another Member State of
the EU, the EEA or in Switzerland, you should obtain the E 303 form from your
local Pole Emploi agency. You will then have seven days to present this form to
the unemployment authorities of the State in which you wish to find a job. You
may then receive French unemployment benefit for three months paid through the
institutions of the State you have moved to.
To provide evidence of periods worked in France to the authorities in a
Member State of the EU, the EEA or in Switzerland, you need form E 301. In
France, this form is issued by the DDTEFP (Departmental Directorate for Labour,
Employment and Vocational Training). It will indicate the periods of employment
during which you paid social security contributions in France.
