We are considering holding our wedding party in Provence next summer and are looking for an English speaking celebrant. The actual legal wedding will take place in the UK beforehand but we would like to repeat our vows in front of our friends and family at the celebrations in Provence. We would be grateful for any information about people experienced people who could conduct the ceremony.

Our daughter got married down here in the Luberon two years ago (wonderful experience!) and we used a local Anglican Celebrant who was charming. If you are planning your wedding near here (Cavaillon) I can send you his details.

Congratulations. Not sure if the job of a wedding celebrant actually exists in France to be honest? I could be wrong, but as the only legal way to get married is by a mayor at the local mairie I don't think there would be much of a business for celebrants. Perhaps you could get someone from the UK to come over?

The couple concerned are marrying legally in UK first, just as our daughter did. This is purely 'embellishment'.
