I'm afraid it isn't close to the area you asked about, but the Auchan Le Pontet (near Avignon) sells a perfect duplicate. It is called: Delissy Classic by Arla. It is sold in 200g containers in the section where they have their cheapest items. It is NOT found on the cheese aisle. I have no idea why they put it where they do.
Anyway, it is EXACTLY like Philly - only one heck of a lot cheaper at around a euro per pkg.
Works the charm in all my philly recipes.
If you have an Auchan near you, perhaps they carry it too.
The Auchan in Le Pontet has only been carrying the item for about 4 or 5 months now. I hope they don't discontinue it.
